Energy Efficient Heating Elements
When installed, the 12" wide radiant heating elements cover over 60% of the floor, and can thereby warm the floor evenly with a lower temperature. This provides an efficient and even heat distribution and minimizes power consumption. To give the same heat output with electric cables or water tubing (hydronics) it would require:

Run on Solar and Wind Power
STEP Warmfloor® can also use alternative energy sources such as wind, solar panels, and hydro-power. The radiant heating elements are normally connected to a 24V power supply from standard 120V, 208V or 240V or can run directly to a solar panel or windmill.
